About the Author
Manuel Molles received his Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. He currently teaches at the University of New Mexico and is also Curator of Fishes and Aquatic Invertebrates. Dr. Molles has written and co-authored a number of publications on various ecology topics throughout his career, many of which he has presented at national and international conferences. Additionally, Dr. Molles was a Fulbright Scholar in Portugal.

Good book with plenty of information and real life examples of researchers!

This book contains a lot of information, and a lot of experiment examples in the text!
For example, the book will make sure you know at least the general idea of the concepts, and provides real life examples of experiments done by researchers in the field of ecology!
My teacher said the book sometimes contains irrelevant information to what we're learning, but so far I have no complaints.

Not terrible, not good

Every chapter was so unnecessarily long and so dry that I could barely read it. Some of the areas were interestingly written but not many. It fleshed out entirely obvious concepts too often and elaborated for what seemed like endless amounts of time unnecessarily while barely explaining some of the slightly more complex material. My rental ran out halfway through the semester and I didn't bother to renew because the book wasn't much use anyway and my professor's notes were sufficient. The book wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.

Scammed by amazon, textbook was just "OK"....

This textbook was only somewhat usefull at best...Also amazon made me pay full price for a semester long E-copy during finals week because I renewed the rental a day to late. Waste of time and money but I care more about passing the class than the money Amazon has successfully scammed me out of.
