I stumbled across 'Red Light' almost entirely by accident - and I'm SO glad I did!
This story takes place in a future where memories are for sale on the streets, and you're taken into the world of Sam Simms; a haunted man with a tragic past. The story is VERY dark, but beautiful. You, like Simms, take a trip through the mind of a killer. The lurid red color of the memories serves to make the horrors of the violence even more graphic, and you completely sympathize with the protagonist. I loved this book. I was very impressed by the story and the artwork. The line work and shading really bring the scenes to life. You really get your money's worth!

Excellent well written history of the Hawker HS125

The De Haviland/Hawker HS125/Bae125 corporate jet was manufactured for over fifty years. Far longer than any other corporate jet. During this time via a process of evolution the aircraft was constantly improved. Bill Gunston is one of the UK's leading aviation authors and his book "The story of the 125" is excellent and well researched. The book starts with a basic history of the De Haviland company and the decision to build the worlds first purpose built corporate jet. The book was written in 1996 and covers all the HS125 civil and military variants including the Bae125 Hawker 1000 as well as the Garrett731 re-engined Hawkers. The book is an easy and fascinating read with excellent quality images although most of these are black and white. I am a Hawker pilot and mechanic and have flown and worked on many models of this classic jet. I could not find any inaccuracies or errors in this book. You can always trust the Brits when it comes to aviation history!
Very few copies of this book were printed and it has become a collectors item hence the prices for used versions. However if you are really interested in the HS125 you should get a copy of this excellent work. With Raytheon deciding to cease production of the Hawker jet line in 2013 this book may well become sought after. So get one while you can!

Good book with plenty of information and real life examples of researchers!

This book contains a lot of information, and a lot of experiment examples in the text!
For example, the book will make sure you know at least the general idea of the concepts, and provides real life examples of experiments done by researchers in the field of ecology!
My teacher said the book sometimes contains irrelevant information to what we're learning, but so far I have no complaints.

Not terrible, not good

Every chapter was so unnecessarily long and so dry that I could barely read it. Some of the areas were interestingly written but not many. It fleshed out entirely obvious concepts too often and elaborated for what seemed like endless amounts of time unnecessarily while barely explaining some of the slightly more complex material. My rental ran out halfway through the semester and I didn't bother to renew because the book wasn't much use anyway and my professor's notes were sufficient. The book wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.

Scammed by amazon, textbook was just "OK"....

This textbook was only somewhat usefull at best...Also amazon made me pay full price for a semester long E-copy during finals week because I renewed the rental a day to late. Waste of time and money but I care more about passing the class than the money Amazon has successfully scammed me out of.

He was the father of fifty-seven sons, some of them fine poets and thirty daughters. He is the author of over 200 works in Pashtu and Persian, consisting of Poetry, Medicine, Ethics, Religious Jurisprudence, Philosophy, Falconry, etc., together with an account of the events of his own life. His poetry is said to consist of more than 45,000 poems! There is no other poet in the Afghan language who created so many poems on such a wide range of subjects. He wrote ghazals, ruba’is, qasidas, qi’tas and masnavis. Introduction on his life, times & poetry. Correct rhyme-structure has been kept and the meaning of these beautiful, powerful, and occasionally spiritual poems. Great Khushal Khan

I had read most of Khushal Khattak"s Pashto Text Books. I love each one of them. Its my first time saw on Amazon Library his Book. Great. But I am not sure if this Book is the English translated or Pashto Text. Reading his poems my biggest stress released.it makes me happy, it takes me to Khushal'S world. If you can read and understand Pashto, start reading Khushal's poem. You will never get board I promised. I will love to see more of his collection on the E library. I can go ahead purchase them for my Nook. The reason I can't buy this Book now because of my poor net connection. I just came a cross another website where they got all the Afghan Pashto E Books its pukhto.net to make a safe purchase I would say go for Amazon. Or Barnes and Noble Library. I hope Amazon brings us more Pashto collection to their E Book store from that pukhto,net we can go make more purchases to our kindle.

The encyclopedic bible of urology

This book is the most extensive single source of urologic information available. It covers all basic aspects of urology in a fairly complete manner. The main drawbacks are:
1)Reference authors quoted directly in text. This makes the book fairly diffcult to read in a fluid manner and adds extra length to the already lengthy text. Gillenwater is a much more readble text.
2)Some chapters need a better overall framework. The best example of this is the chapter on adrenal pathology which does not provide a very good thorough to the asymptomatic adrenal mass, by far the most common adrenal problem.
3)Often excessive discussion regarding all the studies for and against an issue. I feel that it would be better to state that an issue is unresolved and then list some appropriate ways of attacking the problem.
4)Certain chapters are written in the 1st person. The chapter on the technique of radical retropubic prostatectomy is a personal account and not a reference chapter. MAny innovations from other centers are missing making this chapter somewhat biased.
Overall an excellent and authoratative view or urology

The basis for any urology library

Medicine is obviously a rapidly evolving field and most medical texts receive a periodic retooling. All revisions should be as thorough and meaningful as the Seventh edition of Campbell's. The text has been sucessfully expanded where appropriate and each section further honed. Figures are elegant, pertinent, and well rendered. The references are all encompassing and as current as one can expect in a volume such as this. If there are any hesitations about updating from the sixth edition (which was also a vast improvement from the fifth) I hope to assuage them, encourage the reader and congratulate the authors.

If you need to know urology, then you need this set of book. This edition is set up very well. The 4 books make it easier to look up info. It covers all the major topics in urology and is as up to date as any book can be.
