Annoyed pre-medical student.

Some of the solutions explained here use totally different numbers, questions, compounds..... etc. they don't match. I'm not sure if the authors do this on purpose to make you "think harder" but how am I supposed to understand these things if THE SOLUTIONS I PAID $80 FOR ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE QUESTION??? The solutions are helpful when they are the right ones. If I can't understand a problem and need to work through it, the solutions having completely different numbers (As in for quantities, like weights or moles given for a question) or different chemicals DOESNT HELP ME! Slows me down! It's still better to have this manual than not to have it, but it could me much better.

Saved my Sanity!

SO worth it! My only regret was not buying this book earlier in the semester. My chem I professor was out to fail half the class I swear and half the class did fail because she taught over everyone's head. The thing that saved my grade was this book and the study guide book. It breaks down the answers step by step. If you don't get the concept and the professor sucks at teaching this will save your sanity!

Not the greatest help in the world...

Honestly, I did not use the solutions very much. I rented the physical book and solutions instead of getting the e-text version for work on Mastering Physics website. The book and solutions were not the greatest help with work on the website. It was ok. I would recommend finding other resources online.
